Amazed! These PoC two-ways have exceeded what I expected by a long shot! Not to mention that you receive a year of service for each radio with the purchase. I have used hundreds of two way radios over the years. From professional First-Responder to private home radios. I have professional UHF radios that are on a repeater. With any analog two way radio you're always wanting further distance and coverage. You will only get so far and still finding that you need more distance.

Many years ago NexTel Cellular came out with the PoC technology in their cell phones. I had used them at that time as personal phones and professional. I had used them as the main dispatch for few companies I had worked for. I actually hated them. They were big, clunky, and broke if the wind blew on them to hard. Not to mention the service was spotty and the clarity of the radios was horrible. So, I did not have the highest of hopes for these radios... I was wrong!

GENERAL:
I expected that the radios would be constructed of a plastic housing, like most two ways and other PoC radios are. I was wrong. The case is constructed out of metal and just holding it you can tell how heavy duty these are! They are not light weight, which is from the quality build, but they are not to heavy by any means. I would choose a 'heavier' radio that can truly take a beating than a lightweight plastic radio thats going to break as soon as its dropped. I have not 'drop tested' these radios (I don't want to break one just to test it) but, I have accidentally dropped it in normal daily use. No, damage to the radio or change in its operation from it.
The operation system of the radios is very simple and straight forward. You can switch between different 'groups' and different users direct from the radio.

RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT:
The adjustable volume goes up loud enough to be heard in most environments. I have slight hearing loss. If it is to loud in the environment where you're using them you can plug in an ear piece, they provide one with the radios. You can connect an ear piece with a single plug to both listen and transmit. The one provided workes well but, it is only a 'light' duty. The speaker is clear and you can hear every detail from it. The microphone picks up very well and the noise-reduction takes out the background sounds/noises very well to make sure your audio is always clear. The audio is as clear as my cell phone on speaker. The transmit/receive delay has normally been within 1 second.

BATTERY:
The battery life is shocking! The day I received the radios I charged them for about 4 hours, while they were turned on. I left both radios turned on and used them for 5 days without charging. The battery status showed they were still atleast 1/4 charged! They are your standard USB-C charger plug; they come with 2 USB cables and 2 USB wall plugs. There is no desktop type cradle for charging, that is one thing I would have liked. The battery charges quickly and I do not turn off mine as they charge.

DATA SERVICE:
You are provided 1 year of service with each radio (up to 850MB monthly, each). That was a shock to me to begin with! What I have found is that most PoC service is about $25 per month, per radio, and you are not provided any service 'free' with the radio purchase. If you are provided with service by the other brands, you will only get about 250MB a month. Which from what I have found is not substantial for daily use. I have tested out the coverage, in my area, in areas that I know are 'dead' zones for cell service. My phone in one hand had no service and these radios still worked clearly. I have used them in a 7 story concrete apartment building, elevators, and other buildings and they never lost coverage.

OVERALL:
I am beyond happy with this brand of PoC two-way radios. You're getting a great radio that will last years and you are getting a year of great service for a price that cannot be beat! If you're in the market for PoC two-ways or if you're just interested in trying the technology do not hesitate... Just make the purchase!
